Digital Access Card now available from Toronto Public Library!
Hi all,
We are pleased to announce that Toronto Public Library now has a digital access card! The Digital Access Card will provide immediate access to TPL’s digital resources and services, including ebooks and eaudiobooks, streaming music and video, and research databases. This new membership option is for adults and teens (13+) who live in Toronto and do not already have a library card. Full information about Digital Access Card is available on our website, along with the registration form.
We are so happy that this is available for students to easily sign up and get access to our great eResources, many which can be found in our Homework Help page, as well as our ebooks and eaudiobooks, through Overdrive. We hope that the Digital Access Card erases any barriers to access that currently exist and is a workable option for most of your students. Keep in mind that students will not be able to borrow or place holds on physical materials with this digital card. If they wish to do so, they will need to come in to a branch with identification to convert their Digital Access Card to a full-service card.
