The Mackenzie - Baycrest Partnership aims to encourage Mackenzie students to volunteer at Baycrest Hospital. This year, the Partnership aims to hold two virtual volunteer orientations, along with info meetings and module workshops in order to facilitate the process of becoming a Baycrest volunteer. It's main goal is to spread awareness of the many exciting volunteer opportunities at Baycrest Hospital!

BLACK STUDENT ALLIANCE
BSA at Mackenzie seeks to empower and amplify student voices, build capacity in student leadership, and provide support for students of African Heritage by means of ongoing meetings and discussions, guest speakers, presentations and other initiatives that support the Black student body. BSA serves as a safe place for Black students and allies. We encourage everyone to take advantage of resources and opportunities to educate themselves and others. MEDLIFE is a community development non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development projects. In order to achieve the ultimate goal of a world free from the constraints of poverty, MEDLIFE empowers students and volunteers to become advocates for change, participating in Service Learning Trips, and supporting the MEDLIFE Project Fund. With this support, MEDLIFE hires and trains local staff to provide high quality 24/7/365 patient care, community development projects, and educational workshops. The MEDLIFE mission is to build a worldwide movement empowering the poor in their fight for equal access to healthcare, education, and a safe home!
