MACKENZIE COMPUTER PROGRAMMING TEAM
Mackenzie’s Computer Programming Team, otherwise known as MCPT, aims to provide an environment for anyone with an interest in computer science to engage with. Among other things, we provide regular lessons, help sessions, and resources paralleling the ICS curriculum by the Learning branch, and code debugging sessions and weekly contests by Competitive. Once a month, the Contests branch will also run the Lyon's Computing Competition (LCC), a 2.5 hour team-based programming event run in two divisions (Junior and Senior). Don't miss out!

Debate club is a place for you to improve your critical thinking skills, the ability to structure/build arguments, and facilitate learning on a variety of subjects. The debate circuit is also filled with wondrous and bright individuals you can meet. MOCK TRIALS COMPETITIVE TEAM
Our goal is to introduce students to the fundamentals of Canadian court trial procedures. In the second half of the school year, we are joined by a lawyer coach who can provide insight into trials and legal professions, and helps us prepare for a competitive mock trial around late April/early May.
